Ready, Set, Hire

FedEx Custom Critical is a multiple NorthCoast 99 recipient and we are proud to be recognized as one of the best places to work in northeast Ohio.  In 2008, FedEx Custom Critical won a special award in the Recruitment and Selection category.

In this interactive session, “Ready – Set – Hire & Retain” attendees will exchange ideas on the recruiting life cycle.

Ready – how do you get ready for your opening - even before you have one?  We will briefly discuss quick and easy ways to network, proactive recruiting techniques, and getting your company ready to engage in the recruiting process.

Set – now that you have the opening, where should you source for top talent?  We will cover sourcing strategies that have been successful for FedEx Custom Critical.  Attendees will share cost effective and creative sourcing ideas that will make a positive impact at your company.

Hire - you have your candidates, how do you hire the best?  This part of the session will discuss strategies to increase the odds in your favor of hiring only top talent.  Topics touched upon will be screening candidates, leveraging the interview process and initiating the job offers.

Retain - the honeymoon is over, and now the real work begins.  During these difficult times, how do you keep the people you need?  We will explore ways to best keep talent inside your organization.

The goal of this session is to outline cost effective recruiting and retention strategies that are easy to implement, regardless of the size of your company.
